The 12AM category refers to passenger cars that do not lack significant components – engine, transmission, steering mechanism. Car De-registration:
At SIA “Tolmets Vidzeme” branches, you can de-register any vehicle that is:
- A passenger vehicle up to 3500 kg, by providing the vehicle’s registration documents and license plates, if available;
- Complete with the essential components – engine, steering mechanism, chassis, transmission;
- Without any registered restrictions on the de-registration action or any commercial liens;
- Identifiable by its VIN number (it must not be removed);
- No longer intended for use by its owner on public roads.
